Janeska Smith Asante: Spirit/Soul Coach & Healer: I was going to write an ENTIRELY different article this week (About The Body) of the Mind-Body-Spirit articles that I send out; however, I’ve had SEVERAL people call me (JUST THIS WEEK) because they’re experiencing different challenges, when it comes to their eyes. So, I decided to focus on this first. And I believe you’ll agree with me, when I say NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY wants to lose their ability to see
WHEN WE’RE YOUNG…
When we’re young, we seldom think about our eyes, unless we already have problems with them. We seldom ‘wake up’ in the morning thanking Spirit for being able to see. We absolutely take seeing for granted!!! (And we shouldn’t!)
If some tragedy happened in our lives and we woke up the next morning, without our sight, ALL OF A SUDDEN, our vision would automatically become an A1 priority to us. In other words, waiting until something is DIRE or ‘jacked up’ BEFORE we decide to act, just isn’t the smartest way to go, when you think about it.
I’ve personally ALWAYS lived by the motto “An ounce of PREVENTION is worth a POUND OF CURE”, and this is 1000% true. I STILL live by that motto, as much as I can. If you ask WHY, it’s because IT WORKS!
Since PREVENTION on any level, in addition to, PREVENTION for any BODY PART, is significant; it becomes especially significant when it pertains to our precious vision.
My question to you is “What are YOU doing to FEED YOUR EYES or to PROTECT YOUR VISION Daily?” I would almost guarantee (or PRETEND to bet YOU 1 Million Dollars) that a majority of people (including you) are unable to answer that. Wellll kids, I’m here to help you answer that question with confidence. What you do with this information, is totally up to you!
1st of all, STOP shoving your head in the sand when it comes to health. If you don’t look at what’s going on, you’re going to regret it, sooner or later. If you’re not going to PRO-actively do anything regarding your overall health, at least practice PREVENTION when it comes to your eyes, so they’ll be PROTECTED for decades to come.
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE SUBCONSCIOUS THINKING OF EYE ISSUES ARE?
According to Author Louise Haye and many other Authors who write about the EMOTIONAL aspects of disease, she notes that eye problems (just like other diseases) begin with inbred thoughts or programmed beliefs, that follow us around, year after year after year.
For example, she says, people with:
A). A STY are not liking what they see in their own lives.
B). A STIGMATISM have “I trouble”..or a fear of really seeing the self.
C). CATARACTS mean an inability to see ahead with joy, or believe in a dark future.
D). FARSIGHTEDNESS: A fear of the present.
E). NEARSIGHTEDNESS: A fear of the future.
F). EYE ISSUES WITH CHILDREN: Not wanting to see what is going on in the family.
G) GLAUCOMA: Stoney unforgiveness or pressure from long standing hurts.
Overwhelmed by it all.
These are underlying beliefs, conditions, habits or programming, that a person holds in their thoughts THAT PLANTS THE SEED that ALLOWS the eye disease process to begin. Even when you you don’t know what that belief may be, you STILL need to protect your eyes.
WHEN DO I START?
I suggest you start as young as possible. When it comes to health, sight should be a PRIORITY. Right?
So, whatever age you decide to start, remember first:
- Do NOT buy vitamins, minerals, or health products from the DRUG store. These kind of vitamins have chemicals in them.
- Eyes need to be nurtured and cared for, along with feeding them PURE vitamins, PURE minerals, and other FOODS and supplements that ENHANCE your VISION.
- Also, NOT a great idea to use DRUG store eyedrops. They, too, have chemicals. Chemicals NEVER help eyes, and many times, cause even more problems, with your eyes.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTS TO DO:
- If you’re NOT eating tons of food and drink with Vitamins A, C & E, in them, you’re NOT feeding your eyes. Carrots, apples, oranges, kiwi and strawberries have these vitamins in both their food source, as well as, their drink source. Almonds, peanuts, sunflower seeds, dried apricots, and pine nuts also have some eye-enhancing vitamins in them.
- If you’re NOT eating Kale, Spinach and Turnip Greens, you’re also NOT getting Lutein…a nutrient that is VERY important to your eyes.
- If you are NOT eating Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), an antioxidant that reduces oxidative stress in your body and your eyes, you’re NOT feeding your eyes. Riboflavin is found in beef, oats, certain fortified cereals, milk and yogurt.
As we ALL know, very few people are eating these kinds of food on a daily basis. They’re just NOT! We’ve adopted a cheap, instant, fly-by-night, processed litany of nutrition-less food, that FEEDS our bodies NOTHING…NADA…ZERO!
Stop and ask yourself, once again, what FOODS are you eating with these particular vitamins in them regularly and in MASSIVE amounts? If the answer is ‘NOT MANY’ or ‘NOT ENOUGH’….you’re probably asking…
WHAT SHOULD I DO THEN?
There ARE quicker, easier and more profound ways to FEED YOUR EYES. Let’s be clear…NO ONE, even Vegans and Vegetarians are getting a full scale balanced diet in 2018, for a variety of reasons (AND that’s a whole other article, in itself). Supplements are an absolute MUST, in our modern-day, everyday life, RIGHT NOW, especially in the case of VISION PREVENTION & PROTECTION.
1). LUTEIN & ZEAXANTHIN are carotenoids, which are substantial compounds that are synthesized by plants. These two substances are literally in the macula and retina of the eyes. They protect us from the harmful blue light which comes off our phones, computers, and TVs. YOUNG people DEFINITELY need to have these ingredients in their diets to protect their eyes from our electromagnetic influences of the day. These two ingredients also PREVENT CATARACTS, and prevents the progression of MACULAR DEGENERATION. You can purchase products with Lutein and Zeaxanthin in them on Amazon and other health-related sites. The one I like the most is ULTIMATE EYE from PurityProducts.com. They have pure ingredients and have a lot of other ‘eye enhancing’ ingredients in it, like Bilberry Extract, which is extremely helpful in dealing with Night Vision challenges.
2). OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS are also significant for eyes. Omega 3’s are polyunsaturated fats, which has the DHA of the Omega 3’s in high concentration inside your retina. They help the cells in your eyes and PREVENT diabetic retinopathy. They are also anti-inflammatory, which is important, because ALL disease has some kind of inflammation happening underneath the disease. Fish is always recommended to help conditions like heart issues, the entire cardiovascular system issues, as well as, eyes and the brain. One of my favorite products (also from PurityProducts.com) is Krill Oil plus 50 with CoQ10 and Omega 3’s, in it. It’s a triple threat to PROTECT you against eye issues. SIDENOTE: Our foods alone are NOT powerful enough to supply all we need because we can’t eat enough of it. We’re ONLY getting traces of what we need. Unless you’re eating ALL raw foods 24/7, you’re not even touching the surface of PHENOMENAL Healthy Eating. This is why we need concentrated amounts of SPECIFIC SUBSTANCES in vitamins and supplements, created EXACTLY for SPECIFIC ailments or conditions, that are health ENHANCING, not health DIMINISHING.
